From the funny to the outrageous, this year's Clark County Fair entertainment lineup is sure to be enjoyed by all ages.
The biggest performance will be Thursday night at 9 p.m., after the rodeo. The concert will feature the America's Got Talent (AGT) star from Cedar City, Utah, who rose to fame on social media during the 2020 pandemic.
Chris Peterson wowed AGT's celebrity judges with his and his dog Sid's rustic rendition of Chris Ledoux's “Look at You Girl.”
Simon Cowell was impressed, calling their performance on the 15th season national competition show “incredible,” “amazing” and “genius.”
Peterson is a graphic designer, but has focused more on music since AGT.
His album “Cowboy Coming Home” ranked in the top 10 albums of all genres on the Billboard Mountain Region Heatseekers chart.
Friday night, Eli Mosley will perform on the Plaza Stage starting at 9 p.m. Mosley is best known as a country music star who was also a rancher and a Marine. The Florida native has released three albums recorded in Nashville. She has opened for iconic musicians such as Tracy Byrd and Tracy Lawrence.
Eagles tribute band Hotel California will be featured Saturday night at 9 p.m. This is the only Eagles cover band officially licensed for live performance. They are based in Southern California and are known as the longest running “Eagles” salute show.
The fair also has plenty of entertainment during the day. Hypnotist Theisen, who has performed at the fair for years in the past, will put on a show packed with laughs and laughs.
This year, Adam the Great will be the star of the show, featuring performances from Oregon's new magicians.
Juggling duo Circus Luminescence will be a visual favorite as they utilize lighting and pattern to create a one-of-a-kind sensory experience.
The Rock Bottom Boys also take to the stage, bringing local country and folk-style harmonies to life with boot-stomping beats.
The new extreme sports and acrobatic ground show will definitely make Slam Dunk a favorite for lovers of life-threatening and high-flying entertainment. The Off Axis Stunt Show features BMX, Trump Wall, Parkour, Teeterboard and Slam Dunk Contest.
Animal lovers will love the Cartoon Poodle Show, which features a fun, cute, and amazing circus show featuring dogs and their handlers.
The Sea Lion Splash Show, one of the biggest hits at last year's fair, is back. Kids and adults can experience the Water Girl Show like no other, including personal interaction with the show's stars.
Swifty Swine Racing is part of the annual fair tradition. Racing pigs perform multiple times each day.
Circus Luminescence also roams around performing in the midst of the crowd. Other artists include Megan the Bubbleologist, Mimelot, and more. mime, stilt walker Rebecca Fireplug, and one-man band Washboard Wally.
There will also be performances by local dance groups and school music groups.
Of course, the main entertainment attraction is the PRCA Rodeo, featuring some of the world's best cowboys and cowgirls. They will try to improve their stock in the world rankings in order to win prize money and qualify for the national finals rodeo at the end of the year. .
Another entertainment is the mutton busting event which provides plenty of thrills and spills.
Mutton busting is free, but the rodeo costs $20 each on Wednesday and Saturday nights and $25 each on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
