Ed Sheeran sings in Punjabi for the first time at a concert in Mumbai, leaving fans stunned and social media ablaze.
During Saturday night's show, the British superstar invited Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh to perform with him on stage.
When the duo performed Dosanjh's hit song 'Lover' in Punjabi, the crowd went wild.
“The crossover I never knew I needed,” one fan said on Instagram.
Another said: “I feel like I've seen history being made”, and yet another said Sheeran's Punjabi was “perfect”.
The Shape of You singer wrote, “Tonight I got to perform Diljit Dosanjh in Mumbai and sing in Punjabi for the first time. I had such an amazing time in India and there are so many more to come!”
Meanwhile, Dosanjh shared a video with the caption, “Brothers singing in Punjabi for the first time.”

Fans were quick to praise Dosanjh for once again making a big name singer sing in an Indian language.
“First Sia, then Ed, Diljit will make everyone sing in Punjabi,” one person posted on Instagram.
“Hats off to Diljit,” wrote another. “This man literally exploded the Punjabi music scene and created other artists.” [sing] In Punjabi. ”
