Pickleball beginner class will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Aiken Senior Life Services, 1310 E. Pine Log Road. Pickleball pro Mo Garcia leads his two-part series. The March 15th session will cover history, rules, gear, and basics. The March 22nd session will be held at the H. Free in-person tax service will be available Available by appointment at the Aiken County Public Library. Reservations are available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays through April 5th. Services are provided by his AARP Foundation Tax Assistants and are available to anyone of any age, but especially those 50 and older who cannot afford to pay taxpayers. We will be holding a lecture on Victorian antique fans. Saturday, 1 p.m., Aiken County Public Library, 314 Chesterfield St. SW. The program includes a variety of antique fans, including one made by Queen Victoria's fan makers. The program features the history, usage, and secret language of Victorian fans, narrated by costumed National Park Service vetted interpreters. Children can make and color their own fans.
