Finn Wolfhard is “really excited” to release his debut solo album in 2025.
The 21-year-old star, best known for his acting career as Mike Wheeler on Netflix's hit series Stranger Things, says he can't wait to release his debut solo album next year. I admit it.
The actor, who plays with Malcolm Craig in the band The Aubreys, told The Hollywood Reporter:
“But I'm looking for a label and trying to put out a solo album under my own name. It's coming out next year and I'm really looking forward to it. It's going to be a bit more noisy with a bit more rock and raw elements. It's all on tape. ”
Finn believes that apps have made it easier than ever for actors to record their own music.
He explained: “Making music is literally tangible now, so you have to do it. [because we grew up with apps].
“I'm not really sure why it's so natural for some actors to also be musicians, but it's great that so many people can find their way into music through readily available technology.”
Meanwhile, last year, Finn described his music as a “personal journey.”
Finn spoke to Kerrang about his musical ambitions! Magazine: “I just love writing songs, putting out music, and making music accessible. As long as someone hears it and can relate to it, that's all I really care about. .
“I definitely don't feel like I'm trying to conquer the world! This is my own personal journey and my relationship with music, so cultural influences don't really matter.”
