In Baton Rouge, the annual St. Patrick's Day Wearin' of the Green Parade gets an early start. From Irish pubs to live music in Beauvoir Gardens, here are his eight places to celebrate on Saturday, March 16th.
Beauvoir Park

After the parade, enjoy live entertainment by the Southside Roosters and Spoonfed Jr. at Beauvoir Park. D. Blanche Boudin's Boudin Balls and Boudin Egg Rolls are available for purchase at the kid- and dog-friendly BYOB event.Doors open at noon, show starts at 1pm
Tickets are $20 and available at bontempstix.com. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Be Positive, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Turn the city green with the $5 Fuzzy Leprechaun cocktail, made with peach schnapps, blue curacao, vodka, orange juice and pineapple juice and garnished with orange slices and cherries.
Crowne Plaza Executive Center

Serving green beer, live music and free Jell-O shots, Ivar's opens at 8 a.m. for fun on the Wearin' of the Green parade route. Entertainment includes “Geaux DJ,” Pants Party, Capital City Soul, and Bad Habit. This event is for ages 21 and older. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at eventbrite.com or by visiting the bar.

Throughout St. Patrick's Day weekend, 1717 Kitchen + Cocktails will be offering $18 Reuben sandwiches with potato chips, as well as $3 Jameson Irish Whiskey and green beer. Additionally, from 1pm to 9pm on Friday, March 15th, all Queen Rewards members will receive a free Her T-shirt while supplies last. On Saturday, members who receive a T-shirt can swipe their Queen Rewards card to receive a free green beer, which they can redeem at 1717 or at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Uncle Earl's

For the past three years, Uncle Earl's has hosted headliners such as Nelly, Flo Rida and the Ying Yang Twins at Earlapalooza, the bar's St. Patrick's Day Parade afterparty. This year, the rapper's TI will grace the stage, along with Domani, 2 Live Crew, Mannie Fresh and more.

Zippy's will unveil its renovated 14-foot-tall walk-up bar and patio area in time for St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Owner Neil Hendrick is excited to open the space in the spring, starting with St. Patrick's Day, and looks forward to hosting large crowds for charity events, parties, weddings, and more. he said. Zippy's doesn't have any new specials for the holidays yet, but Henrik said the restaurant will soon add Saturday and Sunday brunch, lunch specials and new cocktails. Zippy's opens at 8 a.m. Saturday.
