Titusville Playhouse preserves the song in “May We All,” a heartwarming journey through the heart of country music. The show opens on Friday, March 8th and runs through April 7th.
Filled with hits from megastars like Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, and Dolly Parton, this musical promises to take you through small-town America. Inspired by the song of the same name by Florida Georgia Line and Tim McGraw, “May We All” tells a story of dreams, struggles, and triumphs, set in a town called Harmony, Tennessee.
The musical follows singer Jenna Coates, played by Claire LaTourette in the production of Titusville. In the story, Jenna left Harmony many years ago to pursue her fame in Nashville. Now she returns, disillusioned and discouraged, to find the town struggling in an economic recession. Jenna must reconnect with those she left behind and make peace with her past in order to save herself and the small town she loves.
“I grew up in a very small town that really reflects Harmony,” said director Stephen Herron. “Directing this musical brought me back to my roots and reminded me of the simple, happy times of my childhood.”
“Most importantly, this show is about people creating community, and I'm so proud of our cast for bringing a relatable reality to this show,” he said.

From an aspiring country singer chasing stardom to a farmer trying to save his land, “May We All'' features a cast of recognizable characters.
“With the family at the center of the show, there's something about 'May We All' that everyone can relate to,” Herron said. “Family, heart, community, laughter, and perseverance are things we've all experienced in our lives, and it's great to see them all represented in such a respectful way on stage in this new show. It’s moving.”
“May We All” is a character in its own right. “Most country music is narrative songs,” Herron says. “The show's creators did a great job of choosing familiar songs that people know and love, but that continue to tell the story.”
“Even if you're not a country music listener, you'll love this show because there's music you know,” he said. “I guarantee you'll go home singing songs you've never heard before.”
But don't think this is just a jukebox musical. “May We All” is a love letter to the Heartland and the people who call it home. As the characters overcome life's challenges in their small town, they discover that there is strength in family ties and the support of neighbors.
“The town is full of hope, but through Jenna's return, we have discovered that connecting with our community's traditions is what helps us through difficult times,” Herron said.
“I feel like everyone deserves to see someone they know and love on stage,” he said. “I hope everyone loves the escape to simpler times as much as I do.”
This musical reminds us that no matter where life takes us, the spirit of home and the power of music will always guide our journey.
