houston – On Friday, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will celebrate Black heritage and contributions to Western rodeo culture.
Black Heritage Day begins at 10 a.m. and is expected to be a day filled with entertainment and education.
From morning until night, attendees can participate in a variety of activities that showcase the richness and diversity of Black culture.
Live entertainment will be the focus of this Western-themed talent showcase featuring elementary, middle school, and high school art groups. Afterward, those at NRG Park will be able to hear the sounds of the Jack Yate High School drumline.
Rapper 50 Cent then takes to the stage for the grand finale of Black Heritage Day.
In addition to the main stage performances, special entertainment awaits at Champion Wine Garden and The Hideout, providing a unique experience for attendees to relax and enjoy the festivities.
