Pilobolus returns
Tickets for Baton Rouge Ballet Theater's guest performance of “Pilobolus” are available on Saturday, March 10th at 2:00pm and 7:30pm at the Manship Theater in the Shaw Center for the Arts, 100 Lafayette Street. Sold at theaters.
The Connecticut-based dance company has performed in Baton Rouge several times and will present a new work, “Re:Creation.” The company captivates and inspires viewers through its unique style movements.

Posting “Art Flow”
The Greater Baton Rouge Arts Council is seeking submissions for its biennial “Art Flow,” the capital's first juried exhibition showcasing work by visual artists from across the Arts Council's 11-parish area. Masu. Both literal and figurative expressions are encouraged for works inspired by the phrase “No Place Like Home.”
The application deadline is March 27th, and selection notifications will be sent on March 29th. The exhibition will be held from April 5th to May 15th at the Cary Solarage Community Art Center's Shell Gallery, 233 St. Ferdinand St.

In Yes We Cannibal
Yes We Cannibal (1600 Government St.) is hosting the exhibit “Curtis Schreier: Swampy Alps” through Monday, March 25th.
“Swamp Alps” is a solo exhibition by Schreier, featuring speculative Barbie scale models for future adaptive landscape architecture and geoengineering, along with a series of limited-edition cut-paper posters.

Rodrigue's story
The Hilliard Museum of Art in Lafayette (715 E. St. Mary Blvd.) will host “Creative Conversations: Jack Rodrigue” on Wednesday, March 6, from 6 p.m. This talk coincides with the museum's “Sitting George Rodrigue” exhibition. It will be held until July 13th.

Shadows-on-the-Teche Plein Air, 320 E. Main St., New Iberia, will kick off this year's competition with a quick draw in downtown New Iberia on Saturday, March 9 at 3 p.m. Artists and viewers will be immersed in the creative process as they race against the clock to complete a painting in just two hours outdoors.
