Drea de Matteo says opening an OnlyFans account saved her and her family's lives.
The 52-year-old “The Sopranos” actress, best known for playing Adriana La Selva on HBO's gangster saga, has decided to create lewd content for adult platforms amid the coronavirus pandemic. He loses his acting job and is forced to file for bankruptcy. His balance drops to $10, which causes bankruptcy.
Revealing that the move gave her enough cash to pay off her mortgage within five minutes, Drea told DailyMail.com: OnlyFans saved my life 100% of his.
“I can't believe I'm saying this, but we were truly saved.
“If you want to criticize me and degrade me, please go ahead. I just hope you never find yourself in a position where I have to take care of my two young children.
“It saved our long-time home, which was very important to us. And more than that, it gave me enough money to start and fund Ultrafree.”
Drea, a mother of two who had a daughter and a son before splitting from her musician ex-fiancé Waylon Jennings, 44, spoke about her mother's struggles before starting OnlyFans. She was trying to sell her house in a hurry because “they put me into foreclosure” and the house flooded.
“I wanted to try selling it before they took it. At the same time, I lost my mother and my other mother, who has dementia, had no money to take care of. I didn’t know which one was better.”
Drea said of seeing her money skyrocket as she posted more content: “(God) within 5 minutes I was able to pay back Compass Real Estate, which kept my house selling. I felt like that,” he said.
But she admitted: “I did it, but I didn't want to do it. When I did this, it got really hot, and it went viral, and people went crazy.”
She also said that her original plan was to produce a podcast for the platform and keep it behind a paywall, but now she feels empowered to be there.
Drea added: “It's a good feeling to see those photos. They may have been retouched here and there, but in reality, when we do the photo shoot, we do it so fans can see the photo shoot in real time. I’m recording it live.”
