SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – SPAR invites you to begin your journey toward a career in show business at a free event this March.
Learn about show business opportunities and how to develop your skills from local entertainment industry veterans. Now is the perfect time to learn what it will take for G-Unit Studios to open in Shreveport.
This event is aimed at young people ages 9 and older attending SPAR Spring Break Camps, as well as the general public interested in working as creators.
We delve into a variety of topics including writing, producing, auditioning, and more. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about support services such as meals, makeup, and costumes.
Local industry presenters include:

- Dr. Sharon Greene, writer, producer, and faculty member at Southern University
- TD Harris at Sides Acting Studio
- Yasss Let's Dance Owner Yasmin Whitehurst
- Grambling Orchesis Dance Program Director Jayme Griffiths
