Emily Blunt feels “lighter than air” after turning 41.
The Hollywood star celebrated his 41st birthday on Friday (02.23.24) and revealed he feels “happy” and “peaceful”.
The actress, who is married to movie star John Krasinski, told PEOPLE: “I feel like I’m lighter than air these past few weeks. I’m so happy.
“I don't know if I've had a lot of time to really understand it. I just feel so happy and at peace and happy.”
Emily's Oppenheimer co-star Robert Downey Jr. also praised the actress, praising her “optimist” mindset.
Of his London-born co-star, he said: “Blunt is one of the most naturally inclined people to be an optimist, at the same time as being realistic about things.
“And it's so weird, because there's not a lot of Britishness about her. I'm not saying that because you're so cool, but you have poise and balance and you don't say bad things about somebody. That rarely happens.”
Despite her success, Emily actually suffered from a stutter as a child.
And the actress recently revealed that she wants to make a movie “about people who stutter.”
She told BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour: “The trauma of not being able to speak limits oneself in ways that fluent speakers cannot imagine.
“It's very embarrassing.”
Emily believes there is still a lot of misinformation out there regarding this condition.
The actress, who has been married to John since 2010, said: “It's very embarrassing because there's not enough information out there that it's a neurological condition. People really think it's psychological. So you're in some ways uncomfortable or unconvincing.” It's thought that it's about getting a job or something like that. ”
