For the third time in recent years, Winters Theater Company presents an example of brevity on board.
The 10-Minute Play Festival, which features eight different plays in 80 minutes, returns to the historic downtown performance space, Winter's Opera House, this time on March 15, 16, 22, and 23.
Venue manager Caitlin Hines said in a press statement that the four-night theatrical run will offer unique characters, emotions and stories without a specific theme, but as a whole will “make you laugh, cry, and sigh.” It's going to make you think about things and maybe even make you think about things.” In a slightly different way. ”
The eight works were chosen from an international call for writers to submit scripts according to “established standards for exceptional 10-minute plays,” she said, with the final selection being made by artists from across the country and around the world. It added that more than 100 plays were performed from within.
“These plays have been written by both new and established playwrights and will be brought to life by a talented team of local directors, cast and crew,” Hines said in a prepared statement. “It will be.”
