Cloud security company Zscaler Inc. today announced new technology, including natively integrated data security posture management and real-time email data loss protection, aimed at streamlining data security and reducing complexity across multiple environments. We announced new artificial intelligence innovations for our AI data protection platform.
New features are focused on assisting users in protecting intellectual property and customer data from malicious insiders, accidental data loss, and malicious actors. Add to that the threats of shadow AI, ransomware, and increased cloud usage. With AI and machine learning transactions rapidly increasing despite security risks, enterprises need new tools to help them navigate a rapidly evolving security environment.
Zscaler's platform currently analyzes and leverages knowledge from more than 500 trillion data points every day across users, devices, networks, and applications. The latest enhancements to Zscaler's AI data protection platform harness the power of AI and automation visibility to gain visibility into sensitive data everywhere with insightful context and closed-loop workflow automation.
The list of new features includes natively integrated DPSM to discover, classify, and protect sensitive data in public clouds such as Amazon Web Services Inc. and Microsoft Corp.'s Azure. The second feature, known as GenAI App Security, provides context-rich insights into risky prompts, AI app users, and granular policy controls.
Another feature, called Email DLP, protects sensitive data across corporate email, including Microsoft 365 and Gmail, and addresses one of the most problematic insider threat vectors. Also launched today, Unified SaaS Security integrates standalone technologies such as SaaS security posture management, SaaS supply chain security, and out-of-band API CASB security with detailed user activity analysts to provide accurate and This is a service that provides a correlation engine. Enable proactive risk management and mitigation.
Rounding out the announcement is AI Auto Data Discovery, a capability that spans all data-at-rest locations, including endpoints, software-as-a-service, and public cloud infrastructure. This feature streamlines traditional data protection programs by reducing complexity and increasing efficiency.
“Good data protection starts with complete visibility. Point products create complexity and security gaps, and don't provide a complete 360-degree view of enterprise data,” said Zscaler Vice President and General Manager of Data Protection. said Moinul Khan. “With today's release, we continue our commitment to help our customers see all their data and extend security protections to prevent leaks. Using our comprehensive data protection platform By enabling structured and unstructured data and data security across all channels, organizations can replace multiple legacy point products and reduce cost and complexity.”
