The Franklin County Coroner's Office has identified the woman who died during the Ohio State University graduation ceremony Sunday as Larissa Brady, 53, a family member of one of the graduates.
Sunday's spring graduation ceremony began at noon, with about 12,000 graduates scheduled to receive their diplomas.
Around 12:30 p.m., police called for help after a person fell from the stands near gate 30 at the stadium. After first responders arrived, the scene of the fall was cordoned off with police tape.

The coroner's office said the woman was identified through fingerprints.
The university released the following statement, stating that police do not suspect foul play or a fall.
“The Ohio State University is saddened by the death of our graduating senior, Larissa Brady. Our hearts go out to her family and friends during this extremely difficult time.

On Monday, the day before the woman was identified, alumni and employees of the university criticized the school's response to the tragedy.

A university spokesperson told News 5 that the school remained silent on the matter “out of concern for the family while the public safety response evolves.”
