DIY experts know that the to-do list is never-ending.
Whether it's a complete renovation of a room or a simple task like fixing a loose screw, there's always work in progress.
More women are dusting off their toolboxes and tackling their DIY lists, according to B&Q's 'The Way We Live Now' report, with some 82% of women surveyed saying they feel more empowered to take on a home improvement challenge thanks to seeing how-to's and home improvements on social media.
The survey found that Gen Z men and women are roughly equally likely to feel confident in DIY tasks, at 69% and 73%.
It's encouraging news that more and more people are getting into the DIY world. The problem is, all these tools aren't cheap, which is why when a sale drops the price of one of the bigger toys, it's worth taking notice.
