“The Talk” will end in December 2024.
The long-running TV talk show has been renewed for a 15th and final season, with CBS confirming that “The Talk” will receive a “proper send-off” in December.
“When 'The Talk' first aired 14 years ago, it was a refreshing, award-winning format for daytime talk,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, and David Staff, president of CBS Studios, in a joint statement. “We've broken new ground by bringing it back to CBS.”
“For years, we have brought timely, important and interesting topics and discussions to people's homes around the world, and they remain a staple of CBS's highest-rated daytime lineup.”
The statement also acknowledged the contributions of the show's co-hosts.
“It goes without saying that hosting and producing a year-round talk show is no easy task. A huge thank you to our amazing hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O'Connell and Sheryl Underwood. My heart goes out to Executive Producer/Showrunner Rob Crabbe and our hard-working production team and staff.
“We would also like to thank our former show hosts and colleagues for their contributions throughout the season. We are grateful for the skill, creativity and dedication that everyone involved brings to the show every day. Thank you so much to all of you, and of course to our many guests who have appeared on us, and to the millions of viewers who tuned in every day.
“In our final season, we intend to celebrate the show and give it a fitting sendoff as it concludes in December 2024.”
“The Talk” first aired in 2010 and was co-hosted by Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini, Julie Chen Moonves, Holly Robinson Peete and Marissa Jaret Winokur. was.
