Countless Survivor Contestants faced the camera during confessionals and expressed the difficult and draining nature of the game. Physical and mental fatigue, lack of food, and constant proximity to others take a toll. Most of the cast members are new to this kind of instability and find it very unstable. But Season 46 contestant Ben Katzman inadvertently spent years preparing himself for the meat grinder on Jeff Probst's Torture Island. In his musical career, he's spent plenty of time touring in a packed van while surviving on $3 a day at Taco Bell.
Katzman found his way into music when his mother took him to a family astrologer for help in overcoming his childhood language and communication problems. An astrologer suggested music, and since his start guided by the star, Katzman has been the head of bedroom label BUFU Records, music teacher for School of Rock, experimental rocker, and bassist for Guerrilla Toss. has played a role. Since 2014, Katzman has fronted his own band, Ben Katzman's Degreaser. Latest album “2023” Transcendent Shreditationis an unapologetically positive take on party thrash, in keeping with Katzman's authentic beliefs. Survivor Gameplay and he mentions Metallica and Van Halen frequently on the show. In the land of leather vests and long hair, writing rippers about posers is a common activity, but Katzman flips the script. In his eyes, the only poser to worry about is the poser in your head, who bombards you with internal criticism that only locks up your potential. That sentiment may seem bizarre or commonplace to the untrained eye, but Katzman is a seasoned craftsman when it comes to combining music with uplifting spirituality (2021) (see article) Astrology 101). He also never forgets the most sacred part of heavy metal: the riff. I hope Probst adds a circle pit challenge next season.
