The event, hosted by Por Vida Academy, a charter high school specializing in accessible education for underserved students, will have a lasting impact on San Antonio's Southside.
The main purpose of the festival is to raise vital funds to support educational programs and break generational cycles in the Southside community. With more than 20,000 attendees expected, the festival promises a weekend full of entertainment, art, food, and community engagement.
Live from the Southside Publisher and Editor April Monterrosa, Lustrous Public Relations CEO Daniel Espinoza, Texas Sugar Daddy's Catering and Bakery Owners Chris Espinoza and David – Chaired by prominent South Side leaders like Mr. Martinez, the festival is a dedicated team passionate about making a difference in the community.

The festival features a variety of activities, including live entertainment from headliners such as DJ Kane and AJ Castillo, local cuisine, a kids zone with free activities, rides, face painting and more. With general admission priced at $5 and children 12 and under admitted free, the event aims to be inclusive and open to everyone.
