Google's John Mueller has said multiple times that sharing IP addresses, putting your site on a shared server, and/or using a CDN to do all of the above is fine for Google search, SEO, and rankings. In fact, he said, it's “normal” for sites to do this.
John wrote: X“There is a finite number of IP addresses, so it's normal to share them.” This is in response to concerns that sharing IPs and hosting with spam sites can negatively impact SEO. .
IP addresses are limited in number and typically shared.

So there are very rare cases where Google completely bans a host and wipes out some kind of ccTLD entirely. But that's extremely rare, and I think that's probably where the rumors started.
John Mueller added X Someone says “Found by a reverse IP lookup tool. One of my websites shares an IP with 129 other websites, many of which are spam. This damages the reputation of my site. Is that possible?” He answered “tldr: no”.
he added:
This is how CDNs work, and this is how shared hosting works. Additionally, CDNs often use a globally distributed set of data centers, so IP addresses can change over time and location. Search engines are practicing dealing with this.
TLDR: No

Google previously said in 2019 that sharing IP addresses is fine, and in 2016 said you don't need to worry about IP addresses. This was a concern for him in the early 2000s, but it's no longer an issue at all.
Again, this is nothing new, but based on questions from people I decided to share this information again.
This started when John Mueller told CDNs to stop blocking Googlebot.
If you use a CDN set to handle bots aggressively, Googlebot won't be able to get through and nothing will be indexed.
