“If you can sew buttons, you can do this project!”
Mother Anna shared her idea on the Kmart Hacking Facebook group, showing off a system that not only helps her plan her child's weekly activities, but also makes her 8-year-old responsible for his belongings.
“This is my school week hack,” she wrote. “There are hooks on the wall of the garage, and each bag contains everything I need for the day, such as after-school swim gear, clothes for dance, gym equipment, and library books.
“This bag is made by sewing a pillowcase and ribbon and adding buttons on top.''
“If you can sew buttons, you can do this project!'' 🧵'' she adds, reassuring unscrupulous moms everywhere.
So how does the system work?
Every Sunday night, my daughter packs all the things she'll need for the coming week into her bag. And every morning, she just grabs the next item in line and she's ready.
“It makes getting ready for school in the morning so much easier!” she concludes.

Next, purchase a packet of buttons ($3.70) and assorted ribbons for $3.25.
So for about $20, you can tackle your morning rush and save your sanity in the process with this simple and effective system. Victory!
