the rest of the evening. Be especially careful south and west of the subway. That doesn't mean there isn't a chance for some more powerful storms to hit the town, but some of the larger hail, stronger wind gusts, and even heavier rain could be expected to hit the town as these more powerful storms to the south and west I think the storm will pose a bigger threat. Let's take a look at tonight's serious threats. Eastern, or excuse me, western Kentucky, northern Tennessee, back into Missouri, and southern Illinois is at a 4 out of 5 or moderate risk. The width narrows as you move north and east. Again, remember that storms and rain are likely to continue into the evening, but the worst of the weather is here to stay. The threat increases the farther south and west you go in the WLKY region. Forecast radar also shows some showers and a few thunderstorms moving toward the metro as the evening approaches. Please note again. The south and west are more likely to experience severe to severe weather. However, as midnight approaches, the threat of severe weather will begin to wane as most of the rain across the region is likely to be in the form of showers that continue southward. It's tomorrow morning, but overall, if we get through tonight's round of strong winds to severe storms, we should have better air tomorrow afternoon. There will be a breeze. The sun is coming out and it looks like it's going to get a little cooler towards the end of the week. But in the 12-hour forecast for tonight and tonight, we're seeing those showers and storms on the radar now, tapering down to mild rain, and ending with tomorrow night's forecast. Not only are conditions trending drier, but more sunshine is on our way. High temperatures will still be warm, but humidity will start to gradually drop into the low 70s. And the seven-day forecast for Friday calls for only high temperatures in the low 60s. But what about Mother's Day weekend? Does it look good? Yes, there will be showers in the morning. Saturday, but most of the weekend, including Sunday, looks dry and warm. As we begin to talk about PGA Championship Week, I'd like to see the unsettled weather return. Oh, I think the unstable weather will continue beyond day 7, at least for the first few rounds. So we'll be monitoring that closely.that
