In June 2022, the Norwegian Maritime Directorate published data collected up to 2022. The Directorate is currently publishing deep sea data collected from 2022 to 2024.
Other data are also publicly available, such as the Marmine project (2016). This is data collected in open waters for seabed minerals in the Norwegian Sea and the Greenland Sea (Norwegian Sea only).
Marmine is a research project (Norwegian only) led by NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology), with participation from both industry and academic communities. This project was funded by sources including the Norwegian Research Council.
The data is free and sent using datalinks.
