A DIY enthusiast has shared a driveway makeover that completely changed the look for less than $250.
As homeowners prepare to do a big spring cleaning or perhaps do some small home improvement projects, TikTok is the place to be.
User @renovatingpammy documents the project of a couple who just moved into their first home and are trying to build their home on a budget.
“I'm not an expert. I just have fun,” the TikToker says in her bio.
In one of their latest videos, the couple shared how they renovated their driveway.
In the video, it is introduced as “Transform your mini driveway for less than $250.''

In the clip, viewers can see a driveway border made up of dead plants, stacked bricks, and an ugly metal fence.
The first task, which unexpectedly took the couple an entire day, was “pulling out.'' [a] Agapanthus, 15 years old,” they explained.
Then it turns out the previous owner left a strange object in the middle of the driveway, and another hassle begins.
“The last owners decided to drop chunks of concrete randomly,” the couple explained.
“We used a jackhammer to break through two layers of concrete.”
They then used shovels to remove “decades-old” bricks that lined the driveway.
The foundation was then completed and the pair could begin adding parts purchased from Bunnings to improve the driveway.
The two used potting soil, box hedges, and white pebbles to create a new driveway border that looks well-kept, modern, and more inviting.
In the caption, the pair explained that they already had the necessary tools, so they weren't included in the price, and explained the cost breakdown.
“Cost breakdown: 5 box hedges from Bunnings ($15.98 each), 2 25 liter bags of Osmacote garden soil from Bunnings ($9.98 each), 1 cubic meter of white pebbles from the garden center ($130)
“Total: $229.86”
They added helpful tips for others thinking of trying a similar project.
“We didn't use weed mats…because we had a layer of stones. Regular maintenance of escaped weeds is more effective than soil-choking plastic!”
Viewers were pleased with the results, with one saying: “Beautiful result” and another saying: “Amazing.”
A third added: “Wow, great job,” while offering a helpful tip for new homeowners.
“We have those stones too, and the stone setting epoxy is effective at holding all the stones in place so they don't come loose in the driveway.”
“That's a great tip!! Might need to invest some,” TikTokers responded.
Other videos show how the couple remodeled their 38-year-old kitchen and made the front door suitable for a modern home.
