BEAUTY fans have created a unique serum that restores eyebrows and eyelashes with minimal effort.
It had to do with natural ingredients in a skin care regimen that revitalized her over-plucked eyebrows.
Reddit user Eylibe has created her own serum twice and “found it to be very effective.”
She shared it in the comments under another Redditor's request for a DIY eyelash serum recipe.
“After I uprooted my eyebrows, they grew back and filled in the space left by my eyelashes,” she explained.
She created “Simple Oreo Gel.” It is a semi-solid gel that has a consistency similar to a cream and contains almost no water.
Her product contained approximately 50% aloe vera gel and 50% castor oil.
She then added some active ingredients such as panthenol, silk protein, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin.
“Did the active ingredient separate from the oil base?” a Redditor asked.
“First, I added the water-soluble ingredients to the aloe vera gel, mixed it well, and finally added the oil,” Eribu said.

She also added a few drops of vitamin E.
“It didn't separate. When I use it, I make sure to stir the solution a little bit before applying,” she explained.
All of these ingredients are very common in most skin care products.
Eribe said she really liked her serum and didn't experience any irritation on her face.
“Aside from the effects, I think it’s very easy on the eyes,” she said.
Previously, she had only used castor oil as a natural hair growth option, but was uncomfortable with the side effects.
“In the morning, my eyes were very watery, sore and swollen,” she said.
Other readers had similar experiences and were looking forward to trying natural recipes.
One person had the same reaction to castor oil.
“I'm so happy with your homemade serum. It's one of my favorite home recipes ever,” they wrote.
“We certainly couldn't replace that all-natural product with a product from the world market.”
Redditors revealed that their preferred growing product is Cherish Lash Seru because it is “the least harmful.”
In the end, they admitted that while they love the products, they also make DIY beauty items.
