A beauty enthusiast has revealed the homemade hair treatment she uses to boost growth.
She mixed together some affordable hair oils to create a mask that transforms your hair overnight.
Dulce Candy Ruiz (@xdulcecandyx) has amassed around 27,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares natural beauty tips.
She showed off her enviably voluminous hair while revealing her signature DIY hair mask.
“This is my favorite nighttime hair mask and has really helped my hair growth over the past few years,” she said.
“Mix in 2 tablespoons of almond oil to fix split ends.
“Two tablespoons of grapeseed oil for ease of handling.
“Two tablespoons of olive oil to lock in moisture.
“To promote hair growth, half a teaspoon of castor oil.
“Achieve a healthy glow with a teaspoon of jojoba oil.

“Three to five drops of rosemary oil will improve blood circulation.
“Then I add three to five drops of peppermint oil, which also irritates the scalp.”
When I mixed the ingredients, which are easily available at most hair shops, in a bowl, the mixture turned a deep yellow color.
She used her hands to apply the mask to her hair strands from tip to root, then tied the mask on until she was ready to wash it off.
“Concentrate the application of this mask on the tip,” she said.
“More can be applied to the hairline and other areas where hair loss may be occurring.
“You can leave it on for a few hours or even overnight.
“When washing, just shampoo twice and use conditioner to seal in the cuticles.”
She showed off how shiny her long hair looked after finishing her hair care.
More than 1,000 viewers liked the video, with many asking in the comments to try the mask for themselves.
According to Healthline, many people claim that using castor oil makes their hair grow faster, but there is no scientific evidence to support this.
Research shows that rosemary essential oil may be as effective as the hair loss treatment minoxidil in promoting growth.
