To celebrate its 500 store milestone, retail giant MR.DIY has expanded its reach to Panglao, Bohol with a series of initiatives under its Acts of Kindness (AoK) program. This milestone event aims to build stronger bonds between MR.DIY and the community and demonstrates the company's unwavering commitment to social responsibility.
MR.DIY embarked on an environmental journey last February 11 in Barangay Doljo, Panglao Coastline. The volunteer embodies the spirit of community engagement and she planted 1,500 mangrove saplings to contribute to the protection and conservation of the environment. At the same time, coastal clean-up efforts have been developed, with a measurable positive impact on the coastal ecosystem. The day ended with a beach rally game, which deepened friendships among the volunteers.
The company has also expanded its reach to Borod Elementary School. This educational initiative included distributing 500 school kits to as many students as possible, along with various household items for schools.

Meanwhile, in Barangay Danao, MR.DIY's dedication to community health has expanded its wellness impact. 200 beneficiaries received essential medical services and the remaining 300 benefited from optical care. This reflects MR.DIY's holistic approach to community welfare.
