Make your own Father's Day gift
Social media influencer Bianca Dottin shares last-minute gifts for dad figures
Sunday. Here's another update. If you're still looking for a last minute gift, we have a ton of ideas. Now we're joined by Bianca, a local mom and influencer. Bianca, I'm so glad to see you. I'm so glad to see you. Come on, Dad, it's celebration time. I'm trying to think of something that dad would love, but it's hard. Because dads are like, they just buy what they need and they don't know what to give them. I get that from my own dad. So, I gotta get creative. This is my favorite. When dad wants to have a cold adult beverage. Right. You can put root beer in there. Or Coca-Cola. Oh, that's my dad's style. More. Right. Or, if you want to make a mocktail, you can put a little recipe card in here with the ingredients. You can put mini-sized ingredients in there and wrap this up and put a ribbon on this and give it to your dad. This is super easy to make. You're gonna make this? Yeah, this is actually from Dollar Tree. It's super affordable. You're gonna put a little design in here. You're gonna put a mocktail recipe in there and you're done with the gift for dad. So cool. Yes. This is something the kids will go crazy for. I love craft ideas, Bianca. This is a cardboard car. Yes. So I'm going to take two pieces of cardboard here. This will be the outer shell of the card. Then I'm going to cut the second piece in half like this. I'm going to fold these two pieces together. Oh, so the inside looks like Alex. And the kids can write a message on the inside. You can also put a little picture in here. It's easy to slip in and out like this. Oh, I love this. It looks like this. I don't know if everyone at home can see, but it looks like a shirt. This is a shirt collar with a crease. Oh, great. And it looks like Dad has all his suit buttons up. Okay. These thoughtful cards. I love the cards the kids make. Now, on to the shirt. More than you can order. Yes. Get this. Actually, I made this one, but you can make your own. You can buy a shirt at the craft store and put some iron-on vinyl on it here. Or you can print the image on a sheet with your printer and iron it on for Dad.Make something like an iron-on label that you can buy in the store. Now, let's talk about frames. This is a great one. A photo of you and your dad, a memory that they will cherish for a long time. Yes. So I had the kids pick out their favorite photo of them with their dad. This one I bought at Michaels, it was like $0.99. Then I went to a craft store and picked out a little wooden ornament. Right, and then I put the photo inside the frame. If you want to keep the kids busy and engaged, you can also have them color this. And then you glue this on, and you put the photo in there, and the kids can color it. Do your craft. Finally, it takes about 15 seconds. Bianca, what is this? Can I open it? Yes. Oh, look at this. I'm going to buy it on Amazon, put some plastic on it, wrap it up with my favorite cookbook, and give it to your dad. Great. What are you going to make? It looks nice, right? Hey, we're going to have a barbecue. This is perfect for your dad this Sunday. A cookbook is also a great idea. Great, Bianca, you always prepare for the next holiday. Thank you so much. Thank you. It's okay.
