DIY Taco Station Using $15 Kmart Items
The Queensland shopper shared with the group her “innovative” dinner hack using a Kmart bamboo cutting board with storage, now down from $29 to $15.
This board comes with four compartments and two graters and is designed to cut and dice fruits and vegetables efficiently and without mess.
But this shopper turned it into a taco station and carried it to the bedroom for a cozy dinner in bed.
In the post, she wrote, “I don't know who needs to see this, but this $29 bamboo cutting board with drawers makes a great taco station!”
She then shared a photo of the setup with grated carrots, chopped onions and tomatoes, lettuce and mince in a transparent container.
A taco shell was placed on the cutting board, ready to be stuffed with toppings underneath.
“I also put the other taco toppings – cheese, tacos, sour cream and taco sauce – on a separate board. I ran out of space,” she added.
“I use it all the time for everyday cooking, and it's very organized.”

Some suggest using it for picnics, cheese and crackers, charcuterie, and meal preparation.
