…from JLL's 2H 2023 North American Data Center Report. It examines the high demand and tight supply of data centers across the United States.
According to a new report from a Dallas-based agency, JLLSociety is rapidly accelerating the amount of data it creates, and that data is fundamental to the way we work, live and play. As a result, demand for data centers has skyrocketed as supply tightens, forcing a shift to secondary markets and new emerging markets.
JLL's 2H 2023 North American Data Center Report notes that data center demand shows no signs of slowing down, and power availability and supply schedules continue to reduce power absorption. “Demand continues to be at an all-time high, with data center growth rapidly expanding from core markets in search of power.” Andy Kubengrossaid JLL's managing director of data center markets in a statement.

Now, a team led by Arlington Tech's Dereje Agonafar is developing a hybrid cooling technology that could save “tremendous energy costs” on both current and future servers.
