A cleaning expert has shared a money-saving hack for motorists looking to give their cars a deep clean.
In a YouTube video, experts said motorists can use common kitchen tools to clean the dashboard.
“My dashboard is so dusty,” YouTuber Candice (@FancyThatWithCandice) said in a 2019 video.
“Maybe it's just where I live, but I always notice a lot of dust and dirt on my dashboard.”
Utah-based mom Candice has over 100,000 subscribers on her YouTuber channel and became popular for her DIY cleaning hack videos.
In the 2019 clip, she uses a product The US Sun found on Amazon that costs just $2.

“My hack for this is to actually use a coffee filter,” Candace said.
“This works really well.”
When she pulled the coffee filter from the dashboard, she saw a red-orange stain coming off the plastic surface.
“This is a melted crayon pulled up,” she explained.
“Coffee filters are very cheap and very easily available.”
US Sun reached out to the YouTuber for comment on this article.

Candace said you might be able to keep your car clean all spring long with a few items most homes have lying around at a low cost.
First, she suggested leaving the dryer sheets in the car.
The seat easily wipes bugs off your car's grill and quickly cleans the exterior. Seat perfume can also help keep your car smelling fresh.
She suggested putting two sheets in the bin at the door.
Next, she suggested keeping a surface cleaner spray in your car.
Drivers can use a sprayer and paint sponge to clean hard-to-reach interior crevices.
Finally, she said drivers can use Vaseline to “polish the dashboard.”
“If you want to splurge a little bit, this is a really fun and cool thing to do as part of your spring cleaning,” she said.
“This really made a huge difference.”
