Under Michael's leadership, CU Times has successfully transitioned to an all-digital editorial product with a new focus on payments, fraud, lending and regulatory enforcement. Most recently, he introduced a data-focused editorial product for subscribers that breaks down credit union issues into hard data and enables deeper, more fact-based stories for readers. In 2024, he started the podcast “Shared Accounts With CU Times.” This podcast provides a fresh perspective from the newsroom through interviews with leaders in the credit union industry and regulatory world. He dives into pressing credit union issues while revealing the people working behind the scenes to move the credit union world forward. His career includes many years as a radio and television anchor/reporter, public relations and digital/social media manager, covering the food and music industries, and cooperatives and credit unions. Over the years, he has launched numerous exclusive videos and his series of podcasts. This includes his successful series of interactive backstage interviews with musicians at music festivals showcasing his media and live streaming production skills.
