- IEEE: Education for the Future.IEEE President and CEO Tom Coughlin will kick off the week of April 15 with a keynote address at noon ET. Mr. Coughlin's priorities include retaining young members, engaging with industry, developing workforce programs, and focusing on the future of education.
- Investing in your future: The importance of continuing education for engineers. April 18 at 11 a.m. Learn about the IEEE Professional Development Suite of professional business and leadership training programs.
- Essential business skills for engineers: Bridging the gap between business and engineering. Join representatives from IEEE and Rutgers Business School to learn how engineers and technology professionals can grow their careers through management training. The event will be held on April 16th at 10am Singapore Standard Time and April 17th at 10pm EDT and is primarily aimed at engineering professionals from the Asia Pacific region. Participants will be introduced to the IEEE | Rutgers Online Mini MBA Program for Engineers.
- Add value and attendees to your event with IEEE credentials. Learn more about the benefits of IEEE digital certificates and badges on April 17 at noon EDT. This session will discuss how to find events that offer professional development time and continuing education credits.
- IEEE – Eta Kappa Nu 2024 TechX.The Honor Society's three-day virtual event, April 17-19, will address the opportunities and challenges presented by new technology, along with Q&A sessions with experts. TechX will include a virtual job fair and networking events.
- What you need to know about the IEEE Learning Network. Learn how platforms can help advance your career with an e-learning course covering emerging technologies on April 16 at noon EDT.
- Learn service best practices from past EPICS from IEEE project leaders.2007 IEEE President Leah Jamieson will lead a panel discussion on IEEE Engineering Projects in the Community Service Program on April 16 at 9:30 a.m. She will share her experiences with her Jamieson, who helped establish EPICS at Purdue University, and her leadership of other projects.
- TryEngineering and Keysight: Inspiring tomorrow's engineers. IEEE and Keysight Technologies, a manufacturer of electronics test and measurement equipment and software, recently partnered to develop lesson plans on electronics and the power of simulation. Tune in April 17 at 10:30 a.m. to learn more about the program.
- Global Semiconductors: IEEE resources and community for those working in the semiconductor industry.This session on April 18th at 1:00 pm will discuss which IEEE groups provide educational materials for semiconductor engineers.
