Now that the weather is finally warming up, we're all looking for ways to make the most of our outdoor spaces.
A gardener has transformed cheap supplies into a DIY fire pit worth more than £100 – causing a stir on the internet.
Like many of us, influencer Emily Bellusci was eager to install a fire pit in her garden.
Instead of spending a fortune on a stainless steel one, the thrifty influencer decided to make her own using items she found at her favorite discount store, Home Bargains.
Though she's no stranger to crafting and upcycling, even the TikTok star was surprised by the outcome of this DIY project, especially considering it took less than an afternoon to make.
She took us step-by-step through the process in a now-viral video, revealing that she made the base for the fire pit out of a wine cooler that she bought for under £10.
She also found some affordable products to revamp the cooler, including fire-resistant gold spray paint that gives the kitchen appliance a beautiful brass finish.
But the interior decorator wasn't far from finished, and added an old tin can for holding lighter fuel to the center of the cooler, which made cleanup a lot easier.
To finish off the project, she added some white decorative stones to give the fire pit an even more luxurious look.
In the caption, she gushed about how “beautiful” and “effective” the DIY project was – despite only costing her just £15 to make.
Her end result was a similar stainless steel fire pit retail They can be purchased online for between £100 and £190.
If you're interested in trying this project, you can find most of the essentials at a discount store, just like Emily did.
For example, she bought the Home Collection Stainless Steel Wine Bottle Ice Dome from Home Bargains for just £9.99.
Meanwhile, the Fabulous team found a 5kg bag of white decorative stones in B&M for just £4.99.
The discount store is also selling Rust-Oleum stove top spray paint, which is heat resistant up to 650 degrees, for just £8.49.
Instead of spending hundreds of dollars to jazz up your garden, you can add some stylish accessories to your space for just £23.47.
If you're not a skilled craftsman, there's no need to despair as Home Bargains has a huge range of pre-made fire pits to suit all budgets.
This includes the gorgeous Jardin Round Outdoor Fire Pit which is currently available in store and online for just £19.99.
While there is no guarantee it will be warm, we can certainly enjoy our gardens with these wonderful accessories.
