A beauty enthusiast has revealed the homemade treatment she used to rapidly stimulate hair growth.
She confessed that she still has “flashbacks” to when she was bald and had trouble growing her hair.
Zara (@theneptunianbaby) has amassed over 37,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares tips on how to “grow.”
She shared a clip of herself taken a few months ago, showing off how much her hair has grown since then.
“So if you're like me and you're struggling with short hair syndrome, listen up,” she said.
“We’ve got the best hair mask for you. We won’t gatekeep you.
“I know you've never heard of anything like this mask, but let me tell you this mask is golden.
“It contains the best ingredients and is effective for all hair types.”
She showed me a creamy mixture as the ingredients to make the mask were listed on the screen.
1 banana, half an avocado, 1.5 cups coconut water, 1/2 cup sea moss, 2 capsules fenugreek powder, 2 capsules kava kava powder, 2 capsules blessed thistle, rosemary oil, olive oil.

Bananas, avocado, coconut water, and olive oil are readily available at most grocery stores, while other ingredients are available at hair stores and online.
On Amazon, sea moss costs $14, fenugreek powder costs $12, and kava kava powder costs $16.
Blessed Thistle and Rosemary essential oils, on the other hand, are $8 each.
“Banana is great for promoting hair growth,” says Zara.
“It is rich in potassium, which helps deliver essential nutrients to the scalp.
“Coconut water moisturizes your hair and helps seal it.
“Everyone knows that seaweed is amazing. It contains 92 minerals that the body needs.”
ZARA DIY hair growth mask
material:
- 1 banana
- half avocado
- 1.5 cups coconut water
- half cup sea moss
- Fenugreek powder 2 capsules
- kava kava powder 2 capsules
- 2 capsules of blessed thistle
- rosemary oil
- Olive oil
step 1: Mix ingredients until smooth
Step 2: Apply the mask to small sections of hair
Step 3: Leave the mask on for up to 1 hour
Step 4: Wash off the mask and style your hair
“And fenugreek, kava kava, blessed thistle, and rosemary can help thicken hair,” she added.
She used her hands to apply a little bit of the mask to her hair, twisting it and leaving it alone.
She recommended leaving the mask on for 45 minutes to an hour and reapplying it every two weeks.
After washing off the mask and styling her hair, the beauty guru's hair was visibly shiny and thicker.
“I'm having flashbacks to when I was bald a few months ago.” [laughing],” she said.

According to Healthline, bananas may be an effective ingredient in making your hair stronger and thicker.
The fruit also has antibacterial properties, which can ease the symptoms of dandruff.
Studies have also shown that rosemary oil may be as effective as the hair growth treatment drug minoxidil.
