Agarwal circled the words “they” and “them” used in his reply and said, “Most of us in India have no idea about the sick politics that is synonymous with our corporate culture. People do it because it’s expected, especially in multinational companies.”
“It's better to put this disease back where it came from. Our culture has always respected everyone. We don't need new pronouns,” he added.

Babish Agarwal's opinion on pronouns has provoked mixed reactions. Some X users supported him, while others supported non-binary pronouns. One user wrote: “The only solution is not to fall prey to Woke’s trap. I hope OLA remains Bhartiya.” Another user said, “Every company I started is a cheap imitation from the West.” It takes some nerve to say something like this, even though it's something like that.''
“That ship has sailed. Every HR department is pushing the latest woke policy on everyone,” a third user reacted. Another user said: “I totally agree.”
