On July 6, 2024, Nielsen Korea released the ratings for programs aired the previous day. “Genie's Kitchen” recorded a national average rating of 8.1% with the release of the new episode. Additionally, the series garnered a citywide average rating of 8.4%. The episode saw a 1.2% increase in viewership from last week's episode, which only garnered 6.9%.
In this episode, Go Min-si surprised viewers with one of her most resourceful moves. The restaurant was packed with customers, with a total of 55 guests, on its opening day. She showed off her versatility by helping out with various tasks in the kitchen throughout the day, especially when she noticed there was a shortage of rice, quickly preparing five pots to meet the demand.
Moreover, the entire cast demonstrated great teamwork and precision to provide the best quality service to our customers. After all the hard work, everyone enjoyed a moment of rest and silence.

Ginny's Kitchen Season 2 follows a similar format to the previous season, with artists coming together to run a restaurant and maximize profits while maintaining the quality of their food. The new restaurant will be located in the breathtaking landscapes of Iceland. In the previous season, the show took place in a vibrant city in Mexico.
The other cast members of the show are Lee Seo-jin as the CEO, Jung Yu-mi as the Director, Park Seo-joon as the General Manager, Choi Woo-sik as the Deputy General Manager, and Go Min-si as the Rookie Intern. The intern position was held by BTS's V or Kim Tae-hyung in Season 1, but he had to step down this season due to his military service. The show will premiere on June 28, 2024.
