DIY wildflower seed bomb: Tuesday, 4 p.m., Carbon Valley Regional Library, 7 Park Ave., Firestone. Create a wildflower seed bomb that you can plant anywhere: in your garden, in your garden, or in pots indoors. Seed bombs are paper balls mixed with seeds. Seed bombs can be placed in the garden or in flower pots filled with soil. Once the seeds germinate and begin to grow, the seed bomb slowly decomposes, allowing the seeds to continue growing. Josh Halpern concert: Thursday, 5 p.m., Erie Community Center, 450 Powers St., Erie. Cellist Josh Halpern, Artistic Director of Cultural Caravan, will join his longtime collaborator Yannick Lafariamana for a special program highlighting underrated works. This concert will feature works by three leading women in music history: Nadia Boulanger, Rebecca Clark, and Clara Schumann. All three rose to world-renowned positions as performers, composers, and teachers at a time when women's participation in the musical profession was almost unheard of.
