Jonathan Stein and Lion Sanguinette launch Opencyclone (See here) as part of a semester project at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design. The designers drew heavily on the work of Ezio Mangini, a pioneer in the field of sustainable design. Since 2010, Mr. Manzini's SLOC paradigm stands for “Small, Local, Open and Connected” and aims to maximize local resources and minimize the distance between producers and consumers. We aim to suppress it.using Open source approach, the two have developed a platform that allows users to work with small and medium-sized businesses to manufacture products locally and connect with each other. Vacuum cleaners are so widespread as consumer items that they became the prototype for the pilot project, which was first presented on the website os-systems.eu.
