90 years ago today, Donald Duck made his first appearance in a Disney short film, and today he stars in a new short film written and directed by Disney legend Mark Henn.

In this short, Donald attempts to fix up the house, but what begins as changing a light bulb quickly devolves into a series of comical disasters.
His anger explodes and his frustration grows as events spiral out of control and build to explosive conclusion.
Written and directed by Disney legend and renowned animator Mark Henn DIY Duck He created the short film as his final project before retiring from the company in December 2023. The short film was produced by Emmy Award-winner Dorothy McKim and created by the hand-drawn animation team at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Jennifer Lee, Chief Creative Officer, Disney Animation, served as executive producer.
The short also pays tribute to Disney legend Clarence “Ducky” Nash, who voiced Donald for the character's first 50 years, providing Donald's vocal gestures and various quirky stag noises via archival audio recordings.
