One homeowner showed off the DIY barbecue he used to revamp his garden.

In a Reddit post, user RobotIsopod showed off a homemade hack for barbecue season.
The DIY pro shares the story behind his unique barbecue and what makes it better than a store-bought smoker.
“Years ago, a neighbor gave me an old, rusty New Braunfels offset to see if I liked barbecue. So did I,” they explained. .
However, barbecue enthusiasts revealed that the device eventually stopped working.
“It finally fell apart last year because I did nothing to delay its demise,” Redder said.
They explained that rather than replacing it with another model, they took matters into their own hands.
“I spent about $100 to build this concrete job because I was skeptical of the quality on the cheap market,” they wrote.
Rather than making the structures permanent, social media users simply stacked the blocks together without mortar.
After the blocks were in place, we set up the grill inside with space underneath to place charcoal.
Barbecue enthusiasts also installed thermometers on the sides of their structures to monitor their grills.
They shared a review of their homemade smoker and how it compares to their previous BBQ.
“Brisket, shoulder and rib sections are better than metal,” they said.
Reddit users pointed out another benefit of homemade barbecue:
“Can maintain a constant temperature [and it’s] The colder the better,” they explained.
The homeowner revealed that this is a big advantage, as he likes to barbecue the most in autumn.
