Department provides agricultural education support to Washington, D.C. area charter schools
Annapolis, Maryland (May 6, 2024) – In an effort to encourage and inform students about potential careers in agriculture, a team from the College of Agriculture Maryland Department of Agriculture I spoke to students recently. STEAM cafe program in Friendship Public Charter School Washington, DC's STEAM Café, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, is open to grades 9-12 and is a place where students can have lively conversations, listen to presentations, and participate in student-led activities.
