data dump. don't judge me.
I beat UConn, New Mexico, Houston and Tennessee to the Final Four. Don't bet your mortgage on it.
If you think about it, we live in Missouri. Don't bet anything on this. It's not legal. Grab a scratcher, toss a coin into some video game machine, and thank the Missouri Legislature for giving you that opportunity. We don't deserve such good government.
I feel like I have to be a smoker to play game consoles at convenience stores. It seems natural to me. Does anyone know the rules regarding this?
Has the new prison been completed yet? What takes so long?
I tried to become a smoker when I was younger. I was so bad at it that I had to quit. Shirts and car seats that are always on fire, and small fluff on the car window. I just looked like a fat white guy who couldn't smoke. I had to quit. To be honest, it's mostly a vanity decision.
This week, my daughter was called to jury duty in Clay County. For some reason, she felt older when she did that. How do I raise a stable daughter old enough to be tracked on a jury? Life happens fast, folks!
I told her to answer all the questions, “I'm in favor of the death penalty. I always say, sooner rather than later.'' She'll probably file a civil lawsuit, so she might be able to get back to her job sooner.
I think she is about 28 years old. Until she was 30, she moved every six months, so she didn't see the jury notice until she was about 40.
How many pandemics will there be between now and November? I have an over/under of 2. We don't know how many weeks it will take for the curve to flatten, but your local health department will likely let you know.
I have a presidential library habit that I gave away last weekend. I revisited the Truman Library in Independence. It seems like it was recently renovated, so it's nice to see improvements. If you think our current president's politics are unique, check out the Presidential Library. They've had problems in the past as well, they just didn't have the social media megaphone to scream at them.
Food for thought. Truman served as Vice President for 82 days until FDR's death. Just a few months after moving into the White House, he was trying to end a world war, and he effectively accomplished it. He took office as president in April and decided to drop a nuclear bomb four months later.
The next time you think the vice president doesn't matter, understand that.
Voting for the Chiefs and Royals fuels my political addiction. Even with a no vote, it will be interesting to see the team courting elsewhere and flexing its muscles. A yes vote would be attractive. Because this is stacked up as a battle of “big business” versus “social justice,” and for politicians who like to say they're for the poor but also like to sit back, this fight will never end well. Because you will never receive it. In the suite at a local ball game.
Either way I can't wait to see it.
