In the wake of Global Climate and Justice Education Week, scheduled for April 1-8, faculty, staff, and the Kalamazoo College Climate Change Action Plan Committee will conduct a series of environmental awareness initiatives as students return for the spring semester. He encouraged them to hold campus events.
World Climate and Justice Education Week is a global initiative that sparks real conversations about climate and justice on campuses and communities around the world. Here's what the campus community can do to get involved:

Research the different proteins you can incorporate into your diet to determine what works for you.
- Become an agent of climate progress and fight climate anxiety on Tuesday, April 2nd from 5-6pm at the Bissell Theater.Participants talk about the overwhelming emotions some people have Regarding environmental issues. Find ways to turn your fears into positive actions and contribute to a more sustainable future.
- Travel the K's green space on a scavenger hunt on Wednesday, April 3, from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Explore locations like the Hoop House, Jolly Garden, and The Grove. Collect stamps at each stop to track your route, then head to the Environmental Management Center to redeem your rewards. Prizes are limited and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also follow the trail and take a guided tour of K's Lillian Anderson Arboretum on Wednesdays from 4:15 to 6 p.m. Please meet at Red Square for transfer to the Arboretum.
- Discover a K student organization dedicated to environmental sustainability at Klimate Fest on Thursdays at 5:30pm in the Dewing Hall Commons. Connect with like-minded people seeking a sustainable future and learn about their efforts to foster greener campuses and communities. Then stay for popcorn and a movie screening. Inhabitants: Indigenous perspectives on global recovery From 6:30pm
- We conclude the week with a climate conversation at Friday Community Reflection, 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in Stetson Chapel.
