HUDSON, NY — Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Columbia and Greene Counties is pleased to announce the opening of a newly renovated kitchen at the Extension Education Center in Hudson, NY.
The public is invited to a celebratory open house in January 2019. Thursday, April 11th, 5pm to 7pm. This event will be held in the Extension Education Center conference hall located at 479 Route 66, Hudson, NY 12534.
The renovation will allow CCE to expand its popular culinary and nutrition education programs in Columbia County. These programs are supported by the NYS DOH Wellness Mini Grant. The upgraded kitchen also provides new and exciting opportunities for the 4-H youth development program.
Open House guests will enjoy refreshments provided by Taste NY Store in the Capital Region Welcome Center.
of Columbia County Chamber of Commerce will co-sponsor the event and offer a business after-hours program to coincide with the CCE announcement. Business After Hours is a valuable networking opportunity for local businesses, and all members of the community are encouraged to participate.
