Celebrate spring with BYU-Idaho Plant Shop's Friday DIY Night Workshop.
Students will have the opportunity to create their own herb garden while supplies last from 6 to 8 p.m.
Participants get pots and pick up to five herbs, including oregano, thyme and parsley, to create their own garden.
Workshop cost is $14.99 + tax per person.
Elizabeth DeWitt, fourth year student studying gardening and tradeare doing The plant store says it offers three workshops each semester. This will be the second workshop of This semester.
“It’s fun,” DeWitt said. “Please come and play with the plants.”
BYU-I Plant Shop is located in the Benson Building., Plants and pots can be purchased at the greenhouse Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Plant Shop is basically a class that you can take,” DeWitt said. “We meet once a week and learn how to run a plant store., after that They come to the store and work for hours, answering customer questions, tending to plants, and watering them. ”

If students are unable to attend the workshop, they can purchase herbal plants and pots at the plant shop.
