Colorado Buffaloes recruiting updates | Deion Sanders approaches top linebacker target | Race for JuJu Lewis | Inside scoop
Under head coach Deion Sanders, Colorado did more damage in the transfer portal than in acquiring players, but the Buffaloes are looking to make a jump early in the 2025 cycle.
After achieving 11 pledges in 2024, the number is still zero at the moment, but there is a possibility that it will be included in the pledges in the near future. On Wednesday, On3's Steve Wiltfong detailed three key targets the Buffaloes are trending toward, including a set to commit over the next 10 days.
4-star CB Alex Graham
On3 industry ranking:No.210
Wiltfong's view: “I like Colorado, and from speaking to sources familiar with the recruiting process, they like the position Colorado is in at this point in the process. alex graham. Colorado made an offer in February, and this is a young player they've had their eye on for a long time. Programs like Michigan and Penn State have certainly left an impression. He posted edits on social media showing love for Alabama, Oregon, and several other teams, but Colorado is heading toward one of the top targets of the 2025 cycle with spring game coming up in less than two weeks. It is in a good position.
3-star LB Mantlez Walker
On3 industry ranking:No.661
Wiltfong's view: “Former Michigan commit who visited places like Ole Miss and Miami; Mantlez Walker I went to Colorado for a game in the fall and fell in love. His relationship with Coach Hart and his staff is something that really resonated with him. And he thinks he has a chance to play early. Colorado feels he is the team's No. 1 player at the position, and he will be available for the spring game. And this is heading in a very positive direction for the Buffaloes. ”
3 Star TE Corbyn Leisure
Wiltfong's view: “My RPM is in Colorado corbin leisureThey also invited him to campus for games in the fall, where he had a chance to soak up the atmosphere and energy of Deion Sanders' program. And the incredible fan support in Colorado. This kid is a pure football player and one of the best two-way players in the state of Tennessee. He is dominant on both sides of the ball and is a player that Colorado acknowledged they wanted in their program. And that tends to be good for them. ”
