Liverpool’s award-winning Quirky Digital has welcomed a new Head of SEO to strengthen its senior team.
Founded by 26-year-old Liam Quirk, Quirky Digital specializes in providing digital PR, content creation and technical SEO across a variety of industries including healthcare, professional services, SAAS, investments, real estate, addictions and e-commerce. That's what I mean.
Liam, from New Brighton, has grown exponentially since launching his business in May 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic and now has over 50 clients and 14 people working from his Liverpool-based office. The team is also growing.
To support Quirky Digital's continued growth, Liam has hired a new Head of SEO. Rachel Walton has excelled in previous roles including her Head of SEO at Castle International and Senior Organic Performance Manager at her Wavemaker in Manchester.
Rachel, 26, was headhunted by Liam after establishing herself as one of Liverpool's leading SEOs, working in other roles alongside other members of Quirky Digital's SEO team.
She has extensive experience working with local, national and international clients, and her role includes taking organic SEO projects from concept to completion, with a focus on technical SEO and on-page optimization. You will lead up to and work with the Director to manage, train, and grow the SEO team.
Liam Quirk explained: “Rachel is a key asset in helping us accelerate our organic SEO services and take our internal processes to the next level. She has extensive experience working with local, national, and international clients. , this is already starting to be proven as our company continues to grow.
“Additionally, she shares our vision of establishing an SEO agency in Liverpool that can compete with known agencies in other UK cities. I’m excited to see the impact it will have on both our clients and colleagues.”
Rachel added: “I’m excited to be part of a team full of passion to set new standards for his SEO agency in Liverpool. There's no doubt about it.
“I look forward to contributing to our agency’s impressive growth and expanding the limited number of senior-level SEO opportunities available locally. For too long, our city’s many talented SEO professionals have had to look far afield for opportunities, and I'm excited to be a part of changing that narrative.”
