Typical Canadian politeness can mask a bitter heart.Case in point: Toronto-based comic Amy Bugg, who just released her debut half-hour stand-up special comedy zone and album little stinkers. Her acerbic wit bubbles beneath the soft-spoken surface, ready to burn down any target that crosses her path, including real estate agents, wombats, and her own thin skin. The list goes on.
Bugs' stage presence is shrugged and reserved, with a distinctly nerdy vibe (as one friend told her, she “looks like this”). [she] I'm teaching piano along with the book. ) But her set doesn't have the uneasy atmosphere you might expect. Rather, Bugs' self-deprecating jokes and unassuming demeanor are a product of comedic confidence honed during her decade of stand-up. Don't underestimate bugs.

A simple hand movement or shoulder shake can captivate the audience.
Throughout the half-hour, Bugs walks the difficult tightrope of coming up with witty jokes while remaining stupid. One minute she's telling a science-based story and the next she's joking about farts.now it is range for you.
meanwhile comedy zone and little stinkers Almost the same, the former graces us with an intro, an outro, and some playful cutscenes. In video format, the special is structured as follows: twilight zone A parody, Bug's mad scientist wig and fake mustache hark back to early YouTube DIY sketches in the best way possible. Not all of the interludes are jokingly home runs, but it doesn't really matter because it's so fun to see Bugs experimenting with the host characters.
Bugs saved his best parts for last and ended his debut on a clear high.I hope this is the first of many attempts comedy zone.
