Popular Omaha trio Bright Eyes have announced details of their tenth studio album, Five Dice, All Threes, which will feature guest appearances from the band's longtime friend Cat Power, Matt Berninger of The National and Alex Orange Drink of The So So Gross.
Due for release on September 20th via Dead Oceans, the new LP states in a press release: [Bright Eyes] The album has been described as “their best sounding in years” and follows 2020's Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was.
Offering the first glimpse of what to expect from the full album is the anthemic lead single “Bells and Whistles,” which the band's Conor Oberst describes as “a song about the little things in life that may seem inconsequential, trivial or temporary at the time, but ultimately shape our destinies. It's also a whistling-at-work scenario.”
