About Seo Ye-ji
Seo Ye-ji began her acting career in the sitcom Potato Star 2013QR3. She then went on to play significant roles in a variety of genres, including the historical drama Diary of a Night Watchman, the thriller Lust, and other notable works. Leading roles in TV series such as Save Me and Lawless Lawyer proved her versatility. However, she gained widespread recognition and acclaim for playing the unconventional female lead Go Moon-young in the romantic comedy It's Okay to Not Be Okay.
Go Moon-young (Seo Ye-ji) is very haughty, unemotional and mercurial – she embodies everything you wouldn't expect from a children's book author. However, Moon-young is also a compulsive fairy tale writer who refuses to underestimate reality and openly admits that fairy tales hide dark and sad truths.
Though rich and famous, Moon-young carries her own trauma, struggles with antisocial behavior and has an extremely unstable personality that makes it difficult for her to form meaningful relationships. But there are moments when her complexity is revealed, such as when she passionately advocates for a disabled fan at a fan meeting or when she forms a bond with the orphaned Moon brothers, Sang-tae (Oh Jung-se) and Gang-tae (Kim Soo-hyun).
